     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Garrison Artillery.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹

     Reverend James Daubeny was born in 1801 at Clifton, Bristol, England.² He married Eleanor Browne-Clayton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Robert Browne-Clayton and Henrietta Clayton, on 2 June 1835.² He died on 16 April 1882.²

     Letitia Ellen Clayton Daubeny was born on 1 February 1841 at Clifton, Bristol, England.² She was the daughter of Reverend James Daubeny and Eleanor Browne-Clayton.^3,2 She married, firstly, William Dewé Piers, son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram, on 1 November 1871.¹ She married, secondly, Thomas Frederick Jennings-Bramly, son of Frederick Jennings-Bramly and Susan Jenkins, on 15 June 1910 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.¹ She died on 29 May 1929 at age 88 at Ticehurst, Sussex, England.²
     From 1 November 1871, her married name became Piers.¹ From 15 June 1910, her married name became Jennings-Bramly.¹

     Thomas Tristram Piers was born on 7 March 1824.¹ He was the son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram.² He married Charlotte Mary Tristram, daughter of Reverend Henry Baker Tristram and Charlotte Jocelyn Smith, on 2 March 1854.¹ He died on 29 May 1873 at age 49.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Honourable East India Company.¹

     Charlotte Mary Tristram was the daughter of Reverend Henry Baker Tristram and Charlotte Jocelyn Smith.² She married Thomas Tristram Piers, son of Reverend Octavius Samuel Piers and Jane Tristram, on 2 March 1854.¹ She died on 12 August 1906.¹
     From 2 March 1854, her married name became Piers.¹
