     Anne Margaret Grand was the daughter of The Chevalier George Grand.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost, son of Augustin Prevost and Louise Martine, on 29 August 1765.1 She died on 17 October 1809.1
     From 29 August 1765, her married name became Prevost.1

     Sir George Prevost, 1st Bt. was born on 19 May 1767.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost and Anne Margaret Grand.3 He married Catherine Anne Phipps, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Unknown Phipps and Jane MacLeod, on 19 May 1789.1 He died on 5 January 1816 at age 48.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 16th Regt.1 He was Governor-General and Commander of the British Forces at North America.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the 60th Regiment.1 He was created 1st Baronet Prevost, of Belmont, Hampshire [U.K.] on 6 December 1805.1

     Rear-Admiral James Prevost was born on 29 December 1771.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost and Anne Margaret Grand.2 He married, firstly, Frances Sophia Haultain, daughter of Reverend Francis Haultain, on 1 January 1799, and had issue.1 He married, secondly, Mary d'Yranda de Teissier, daughter of Lewis de Teissier, on 22 February 1814, and had issue.1 He died on 25 October 1855 at age 83.1
     He was commissioned in 1784, in the service of the Royal Navy.3 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 19 June 1793.3 He gained the rank of Captain on 13 March 1809.3 He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 October 1846.1

     Frances Sophia Haultain was the daughter of Reverend Francis Haultain.2 She married Rear-Admiral James Prevost, son of Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost and Anne Margaret Grand, on 1 January 1799, and had issue.1 She died on 1 February 1813.1
     From 1 January 1799, her married name became Prevost.1

     Maj.-Gen. William Augustus Prevost was born on 9 August 1777.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Augustine Prevost and Anne Margaret Grand.2 He married Henrietta Hamilton, daughter of Charles Hamilton and Elizabeth Chetwode.3 He died on 8 August 1824 at age 46, without issue.1
     He fought in the The Peninsular War.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the The Buffs and 67th Regiment.1 He was awarded the gold medal for gallantry Anglo-Spanish defeat of French at Barossa in Peninsular War in 1811.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1
