     Jane Shikoh Nawab Jane Akhtar uz-Zamani Begum Sahiba, Majli Begum was born in 1837.¹ She was the daughter of Anjum Shikoh Mirza Anjum Shikoh Bahadur and Susan Gardner Susan Shabia Begum Sahiba.¹ She married Alan Hyde Gardner, son of Stewart William Gardner and Jane Gardner Harmuzi Begum Sahiba, on 12 March 1879 at Manota, Kasganj, India.¹ She died on 12 June 1891.¹
     From 12 March 1879, her married name became Gardner.¹

     Lilian Charlotte Kirkpatrick was born in 1876 at Castlepollard, County Westmeath, Ireland.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend George Kirkpatrick and Mary Eames.¹

     Alan Hyde Gardner was born on 26 November 1878.¹ He was the son of Alan Hyde Gardner and Elizabeth Bult.¹ He married Marie Violette Dauban, daughter of Charles Adolphe Dauban, in 1919.¹ He died in 1949.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 9th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment.²
