     Sir Edward Redston Warner was born on 23 March 1911.2 He was the son of Sir George Redston Warner.3 He married Grizel Margaret Burn-Clerk-Rattray, daughter of Paul Robert Burn-Clerk-Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 27th of Rattray and Ferelith Ramsay, on 19 May 1943.1 He died on 8 February 2002 at age 90 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.2
     He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, England.1 He was educated at King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1948.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1955.1 He held the office of Ambassador to Cameroon between 1963 and 1966.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1965.3 He held the office of Ambassador to Tunisia between 1968 and 1970.1 He lived at Old Royal Oak, Blockley, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.3
