     Ronald Strathearn Stroyan was the son of John Stroyan.1 He married Mary Enid Ropner, daughter of Sir John Henry Ropner, 2nd Bt. and Margaret MacGregor, on 24 July 1923.1 He died on 17 November 1957.
     He lived at Boreland, Killin, Perthshire, ScotlandG.2

     Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner was born on 21 December 1862.1 He was the son of Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Craik.2 He married Jane Venetia Walker, daughter of Richard Corker Walker, on 28 September 1892.1 He died on 3 April 1933 at age 70.1
     He was registered as a Member, Institure of Naval Architects (M.I.N.A.)1 He was a shipbuilder.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He lived at Elton Hall, Elton, County Durham, England.1

     Jane Venetia Walker was the daughter of Richard Corker Walker.2 She married Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, son of Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, 1st Bt. and Mary Anne Craik, on 28 September 1892.1 She died in December 1939.1
     From 28 September 1892, her married name became Ropner.

     Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 October 1893.1 He is the son of Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner and Jane Venetia Walker.2 He married Lillian Rochfort Snow, daughter of Lt.-Col. Rochfort Snow, in 1918.1 He died on 5 May 1962 at age 68.1
     Sir Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Robert.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 5th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry.1 He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Staff Captain between 1916 and 1918 in the Boulogne Base.1 He was with the Ministry of Munitions.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Ropner, of Preston Hall, co. Durham [U.K., 1904] on 13 July 1936.1

     Richard Ropner was born on 22 April 1898.1 He was the son of Emil Hugo Oscar Robert Ropner and Jane Venetia Walker.2 He married Margaret Forbes Ronald, daughter of John Gilfillan Ronald, on 28 March 1928.1 He died on 20 July 1975 at age 77.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Army Medical Corps (TA), Machine Gung Corps.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland, in 1931 with a Bachelor of Surgery (Ch.B.)1 He gained the rank of Medical Officer between 1937 and 1941 in the Scottish Horse.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of commander between 1943 and 1944 in the No 87 (East African) General Hospital.1 He gained the rank of Director of the Army Medical Service British Military Mission, Ethiopia between 1944 and 1945.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Ross and Cromarty in 1966.1
