     Malcolm Ross of Pitcalnie is the son of Alexander Ross of Pitcalnie and Agnes Ross.2 He married, secondly, Agnes Wallace, daughter of Hugh Wallace of Igliston.1 He married, firstly, Jean MacCulloch, daughter of James MacCulloch of Piltoun, in 1706.1
     By his 1st wife he also had three younger sons (d without issue ) and four daughters.1

     Alexander Ross of Pitcalnie was the son of Malcolm Ross of Pitcalnie and Jean MacCulloch.2 He married, secondly, Isobel MacCulloch, daughter of David MacCulloch of Piltoun.1 He married by contract, firstly, Jean Munro, daughter of George Munro of Newmore, on 11 January 1729.1 He married by contract, thirdly, Naomi Dunbar, daughter of John Dunbar of Burgie, on 14 June 1760.1 He died on 11 September 1758.1

     Jean Munro is the daughter of George Munro of Newmore.2 A contract for the marriage of Jean Munro and Alexander Ross of Pitcalnie was signed on 11 January 1729.1
     From 11 January 1729, her married name became Ross.

Malcolm Ross1

     Malcolm Ross was the son of Alexander Ross of Pitcalnie and Jean Munro.2 He died before 1758, without male issue.1
     In 1745 he was attainted as a Jacobite.1
