     Her married name became Sinclair.

Robert William Hamilton and Charlotte Maria Palmer, on 29 January 1898.2 He died on 11 May 1904 at age 34.2

     Lt.-Col. Alexander Young Sinclair was born on 16 February 1824.1 He was the son of Sir John Sinclair of Barrock, 6th Bt. and Margaret Learmonth. He married Margaret Crichton Alston, daughter of James Alston, on 26 June 1861.1 He died on 3 February 1871 at age 46 at Jeypore, Bombay, IndiaG.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Bombay Army.1

     Sir John Sinclair of Barrock, 6th Bt. was born on 16 September 1794.1 He was the son of John Sinclair, 4th of Barrock and Ann Longmire.2 He married Margaret Learmonth, daughter of John Learmonth, in July 1821.1 He died on 21 April 1873 at age 78.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Sinclair, of Dunbeath, co. Caithness [N.S., 1704] on 1 October 1842.1

     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 4th/5th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders (Territorial Army.)1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Sinclair, of Dunbeath, co. Caithness [N.S., 1704] on 3 November 1926.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Caithness.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Caithness.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1
