     Marie de Seton was the daughter of Sir Bruce Gordon Seton of Abercorn, 9th Bt. and Elma Armstrong.1 She married, secondly, Marshal of the RAF Arthur William Tedder, 1st Baron Tedder, son of Sir Arthur John Tedder and Emily Charlotte Bryson, on 26 October 1943.2 She married, firstly, Captain Ian Reddie Hamilton Black, son of Commander Henry Somes Black, on 7 November 1925.2 She and Captain Ian Reddie Hamilton Black were divorced in 1943.2 She died on 3 January 1965.2
     From 7 November 1925, her married name became Black. From 26 October 1943, her married name became Tedder. After her marriage, Marie de Seton was styled as Baroness Tedder on 23 January 1946.

Northumberland [G.B., 1782] on 26 August 1785.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Middlesex [E., 1675] on 14 February 1815.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Cranfield, of Cranfield, co. Bedford [E., 1675] on 14 February 1815.1 He succeeded as the 5th Duke of Dorset, [G.B., 1720] on 14 February 1815.1 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Dorset [E., 1604] on 14 February 1815.1 He succeeded as the 11th Baron of Buckhurst, co. Sussex [E., 1567] on 14 February 1815.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1821.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) in 1826.1 On his death, all of his titles became extinct.1
