     He graduated from Natal University, Durban, Natal, South Africa, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was with Natal Province Administration between 1929 and 1973.1 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Natal Carabiniers and Technical Service Corps.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet St. George, of Athlone, co. Westmeath [I., 1766] in 1989.1
