     Christian St. John was baptised on 16 October 1643.1 She was the daughter of Oliver St. John and Constance Dawley.2 She married Ellis Mews, son of Richard Mews, on 4 October 1666.1 She died circa 23 June 1709.1 She was buried on 26 June 1709.1

Ellis Mews1

     Ellis Mews was the son of Richard Mews.1 He married Christian St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John and Constance Dawley, on 4 October 1666.1 He died on 12 February 1680.1
     He held the office of Recorder of Romsey.1 He held the office of Mayor of Winchester from 1685 to 1686.1

Ellis St. John1

     Ellis St. John was born in 1670.1 He was the son of Ellis Mews and Christian St. John.2 He married, firstly, Frances St. John, daughter of Oliver St. John and Margery Rivet, on 6 December 1699.1 He married, secondly, Martha Goodyear, daughter of Edward Goodyear, on 31 January 1703.1 He married, thirdly, Sarah Stukeley, daughter of Sir Hugh Stukeley, 2nd Bt., in 1726.1 He died on 19 January 1729.1
     He was given the name of Ellis Mews at birth.1 In 1701 his name was legally changed to Ellis St. John by Act of Parliament.1

Martha Goodyear1

     Martha Goodyear was the daughter of Edward Goodyear.1 She married Ellis St. John, son of Ellis Mews and Christian St. John, on 31 January 1703.1 She died circa 5 March 1725.1 She was buried on 8 March 1725.1
     From 31 January 1703, her married name became St. John.

     Sir Paulet St. John, 1st Bt. was born on 7 April 1704.1 He was the son of Ellis St. John and Martha Goodyear.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rushout, daughter of Sir James Rushout, 2nd Bt., on 17 August 1731.1 He married, secondly, Mary Waters, daughter of John Waters, on 1 October 1736.1 He married, thirdly, Jane Harris, daughter of Roger Harris, on 27 January 1761.1 He died on 9 June 1780 at age 76.1
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1728.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchester between 1734 and 1741.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire between 1741 and 1747.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Winchester between 1751 and 1754.1 He held the office of Mayor of Winchester in 1771.1 He was created 1st Baronet St. John [Great Britain] on 9 October 1772.1

     Reverend Ellis St. John was born on 28 February 1705.1 He was the son of Ellis St. John and Martha Goodyear.2 He married Elizabeth Pollen, daughter of John Pollen.1 He died on 17 February 1786 at age 80.1
     He was Rector at Finchampstead, Berkshire, England.1
