     Thomas Scott was the son of Samuel Scott and Marie (?)2 He married, firstly, Sarah (?)1 He married, secondly, Mary Nicholls, daughter of Zachariah Nicholls.1 He died circa 3 August 1717.1 He was buried on 6 August 1717.1
     He was a yeoman.1 Little Hadham.1 He lived at Hadham Hall, Little Hadham, Essex, England.1

     James Scott was born in 1776.1 He was the son of William Scott and Mary Jeffreys.2 He married, firstly, Martha Winter, daughter of Thomas Bradbury Winter, on 5 October 1797.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Snell, daughter of William Snell, on 29 January 1819.1 He died on 28 February 1855.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.1 He purchased Rotherfield Park, which he bought from the Marquess of Winchester in 1808.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bridport.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Hampshire in 1821.1 He lived at Hammersmith, London, England.1 At Shepperton Manor, London, England, (an unknown value.)1 He lived at Rotherfield Park, Hampshire, England.1
