     Arthur Evelyn Paul Ellis was born on 27 April 1894.1 He was the son of Hon. Evelyn Henry Ellis and Alberta Mary Hardinge.2 He married, firstly, Jessica Delma Maria Harrington, daughter of James Harcourt Harrington, in 1915.1 He and Jessica Delma Maria Harrington were divorced in 1920.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Ethel Philippa Durham, daughter of William Campbell Durham, on 22 February 1921.1 He and Margaret Ethel Philippa Durham were divorced in 1929.1 He married, thirdly, Dorothy Mary Eagle, daughter of Charles Henry Eagle, on 12 August 1929.1 He died on 1 February 1957 at age 62, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Rifle Brigade.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was severely wounded.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1918.1

     Jessica Delma Maria Harrington was the daughter of James Harcourt Harrington.2 She married Arthur Evelyn Paul Ellis, son of Hon. Evelyn Henry Ellis and Alberta Mary Hardinge, in 1915.1 She and Arthur Evelyn Paul Ellis were divorced in 1920.1 She died in 1923.1
     From 1915, her married name became Ellis.

     Mary Ellis was born on 23 March 1888.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Ellis and Alberta Mary Hardinge.2 She married Major Denis Granville Coskey Critchley-Salmonson, son of Captain Harold Basil Septimus Critchley-Salmonson, on 3 February 1916.1 She died on 9 September 1971 at age 83.1
     She graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 From 3 February 1916, her married name became Critchley-Salmonson. She was with Anglo-American-French Red Cross during the First World War in 1917.1 She was Co-Coordinator, Auxiliary Territorial Service during the Second World War between 1939 and 1941.1 She was Controller CWL Clubs, Head Organiser in North-West Europe between 1944 and 1946.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1

     Major Denis Granville Coskey Critchley-Salmonson was the son of Captain Harold Basil Septimus Critchley-Salmonson.2 He married Mary Ellis, daughter of Hon. Evelyn Henry Ellis and Alberta Mary Hardinge, on 3 February 1916.1 He died on 19 April 1943, on active service.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Scots Fusiliers.1

     Major John Albert Miles Critchley-Salmonson was born on 16 December 1916.1 He was the son of Major Denis Granville Coskey Critchley-Salmonson and Mary Ellis.2 He married Joan Margaret Haseldine, daughter of Colonel Henry Robert Haseldine, on 7 September 1946.1 He died in November 1998 at age 81 at Uttlesford, Essex, England.3
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England.1 He fought in the Second World War, in Burma and Italy.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 12th Royal Lancers.1
