     Francis Sitwell was the son of George Sitwell and Anne Kent.2 He died on 20 May 1753, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Derbyshire in 1735.1 He lived at Renishaw, Derbyshire, England.1

     William Sitwell was baptised on 16 October 1662.2 He was the son of Francis Sitwell and Catherine Sacheverel.2 He married Mary Reresby, daughter of Leonard Reresby, on 21 September 1693.1
     He lived at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.1 He was a practising attorney.1

Mary Reresby1

     Mary Reresby was the daughter of Leonard Reresby.1 She married William Sitwell, son of Francis Sitwell and Catherine Sacheverel, on 21 September 1693.1 She died, unm.1
     With three sons (Francis.1 Attorney in Sheffield.1 Daughter and eventual heiress of Leonard Reresby.1 One of the RERESBYs of Thribergh/Thrybergh.1 From 21 September 1693, her married name became Sitwell.

     Catherine Sitwell was baptised on 20 August 1702.1 She was the daughter of William Sitwell and Mary Reresby.2 She married Jonathan Hurt, son of Valentine Hurt, on 9 November 1725.1
     From 9 November 1725, her married name became Hurt.

     Jonathan Hurt is the son of Valentine Hurt.2 He married Catherine Sitwell, daughter of William Sitwell and Mary Reresby, on 9 November 1725.1

Francis Sitwell1

     Francis Sitwell was baptised on 29 April 1728. He was the son of Jonathan Hurt and Catherine Sitwell.2 He married Mary Warneford, daughter of Venerable Richard Warneford and Mary Stainforth, on 29 September 1767 at Clifton, Bristol, England.1,3 He died on 16 August 1793 at age 65.1
     He was given the name of Francis Hurt at birth. On 7 May 1777 his name was legally changed to Francis Sitwell by Royal Licence. In 1791 he inherited his cousin Samuel Phipps's estates.1

     Mary Warneford was the daughter of Venerable Richard Warneford and Mary Stainforth.2 She married Francis Sitwell, son of Jonathan Hurt and Catherine Sitwell, on 29 September 1767 at Clifton, Bristol, England.1,3 She died on 13 July 1792.1
     From 29 September 1767, her married name became Hurt. From 7 March 1777, her married name became Sitwell.

     Francis Sitwell was the son of Francis Sitwell and Mary Warneford.2 He married Anne Campbell, daughter of Sir Ilay Campbell of Succoth, 1st Bt. and Susan Mary Murray, on 21 September 1795.1 He died on 10 February 1813.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Berwick and Carlisle.1 He lived at Barmoor Castle, Northumberland, England.1
