     Emilie Helen Leigh Clare was baptised on 30 July 1839 at Lancashire, England.² She was the daughter of William Clare.³ She married John Ramsbotham, son of James Ramsbotham and Jane Fielden, on 28 July 1864 at West Derby, Lancashire, England.^1,4 She died on 18 April 1874 at age 34.¹
     From 28 July 1864, her married name became Ramsbotham.

     James Hugh Fielden Ramsbotham was born on 8 June 1865.¹ He was the son of John Ramsbotham and Emilie Helen Leigh Clare.² He died on 12 April 1874 at age 8.¹

     Ralph Leigh Ramsbotham was born on 17 November 1872.¹ He was the son of John Ramsbotham and Emilie Helen Leigh Clare.² He married May Elizabeth West, daughter of Alfred Thomas West, on 8 July 1903.¹ He died in August 1937 at age 64.¹
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England.¹ He graduated from Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1897 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹

     Alfred Thomas West lived at South Kensington, London, England.¹

     May Elizabeth West is the daughter of Alfred Thomas West.² She married Ralph Leigh Ramsbotham, son of John Ramsbotham and Emilie Helen Leigh Clare, on 8 July 1903.¹
     From 8 July 1903, her married name became Ramsbotham.

     Marjorie Helen Leigh Ramsbotham was born on 23 May 1905.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Leigh Ramsbotham and May Elizabeth West.² She died in 1966, unmarried.¹

     Jocelyn Elizabeth Leigh Ramsbotham was born on 22 October 1908.¹ She was the daughter of Ralph Leigh Ramsbotham and May Elizabeth West.² She died in 1947, unmarried.¹

     Alice Mary Ramsbotham was born on 1 August 1868.¹ She was the daughter of John Ramsbotham and Emilie Helen Leigh Clare.² She died on 9 August 1868.¹

     Hilda Ramsbotham was born on 28 January 1871.¹ She was the daughter of John Ramsbotham and Emilie Helen Leigh Clare.² She married Reverend Henry Alfred Ransome, son of Reverend J. H. Ransome, on 9 October 1895.¹ She died in 1952.¹
     From 9 October 1895, her married name became Ransome.

     Reverend J. H. Ransome held the office of Hon. Canon of Carlisle.¹ He was Vicar at Kirkoswald, Cumberland, England.¹
