     Kathleen Matilda Spencer-Nairn was born on 12 July 1913.1 She is the daughter of Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 1st Bt. and Clara Kathleen Smith.2 She married, firstly, Major Ronald Richards, son of Harold Richards, on 21 May 1938.1 She and Major Ronald Richards were divorced in 1947.1 She married, secondly, William Webb, son of William Webb, in 1948.
     Kathleen Matilda Spencer-Nairn usually went by her middle name of Matilda.2 From 21 May 1938, her married name became Richards. From 1948, her married name became Webb. She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)1 She lived in 2003 at Mendlesham Manor, Brockford Road, Mendlesham, Suffolk, England.1

     Major Ronald Richards is the son of Harold Richards.2 He married Kathleen Matilda Spencer-Nairn, daughter of Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 1st Bt. and Clara Kathleen Smith, on 21 May 1938.1 He and Kathleen Matilda Spencer-Nairn were divorced in 1947.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.1

     Major John Henry Courthope Powell was the son of Richard Henry Powell.2 He married Helen Clare Spencer-Nairn, daughter of Major Sir Robert Spencer-Nairn of Monimail, 1st Bt. and Clara Kathleen Smith, on 12 April 1939.1 He died on 19 July 1944 at Normandy, France, killed in action.2
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Fife and Forfar Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)1
