     Gilbert de Striveling, 1st of Cragbernard was the son of William de Striveling, 8th of Cadder and of Redgorton.2 He married unknown daughter (?), daughter of Alicia de Erth, Lady of Cragbernard.3 He died before 1434.3

     William Strivelyng, 10th of Cadder and 1st of Lettyr was the son of Sir William de Strivelyng, 9th of Cadder and of Redgorton.2 He died on 11 February 1505.1

     William Stirling, 11th of Cadder and 2nd of Lettyr was the son of William Strivelyng, 10th of Cadder and 1st of Lettyr.2 He married Elizabeth Buchanan, daughter of Sir Walter Buchanan, 14th of that Ilk and Isabella Graham, in 1492.1 He died in 1517.1

     Hugo Arthur Karl Ernst Hermann von Bernstorff was born on 24 February 1896 at Raguth, Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Germany.1 He was the son of Hugo Kuno Georg Bernstorff-Gyldensteen and Anna Julie Freiherrin Kielmann von Kielmannsegg.1 He married Bridgit Aline Gilligan, daughter of Geoffrey Goyer Gilligan and Margaret Aline Tidswell, on 10 January 1939 at St. Paul's, Knightsbridge, London, England.1 He died on 13 August 1982 at age 86 at Castle Wotersen, Lubeck, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.1

     Robert Stirling of Auld Keir and 3rd of Lettyr was the son of William Stirling, 11th of Cadder and 2nd of Lettyr and Elizabeth Buchanan.2 He married Marion Fleming, daughter of William Fleming of Boghall, in 1533.1 He died in 1537, killed in a feud with the Campbells of Auchinnowie.1
