Christopher John Frederick Kunhardt was the son of Colonel John Conrad Gie Kunhardt.2 He married Ruth Hilaria Tenison, daughter of Major Gerald Evan Farquhar Tenison and Ruth Julia Margarette Hanbury, on 10 August 1953.1 He died on 25 May 1990.1

Frances Elizabeth Hanbury was born in 1848 at Trevethin, Monmouthshire, Wales.2 She was the daughter of Capel Hanbury-Leigh and Emma Elizabeth Rous.3 She married Hon. Anthony Lionel George Ashley-Cooper, son of Anthony Ashley-Cooper, 7th Earl of Shaftesbury and Lady Emily Caroline Catherine Frances Cowper, on 12 December 1868.1 She died on 2 August 1875, without issue.1
