     He was Rector between 1892 and 1916 at Withyham, Sussex, England.1

     Major Charles Lexington Manners Sutton was born on 26 April 1891.1 He was the son of Reverend Charles Nassau Sutton and Edith Mary Cafe.2 He married, firstly, Amabel Anne Ludlow, daughter of Major Ludlow Couper Ludlow and Amabel Ludlow, on 12 September 1917.1 He and Amabel Anne Ludlow were divorced.1 He married, secondly, Gladys Louise Gubb, daughter of Percy Gubb, on 11 June 1932.2 He died on 8 October 1962 at age 71.3 He was buried at Holy Trinity Churchyard, Hurst Green, Sussex, England.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers. He gained the rank of Brigade Major in 1917.1 He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1946.1

     Major Ludlow Couper Ludlow was born in 1861 at India.2 He married Amabel Ludlow, daughter of Maj.-Gen. John Ludlow, on 31 March 1891 at Cannes, France.2
     He lived at Beech Green, Withyham, Sussex, England.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Essex Rifles.2 He was given the name of Ludlow Couper Smith at birth.2 His name was legally changed to Ludlow Couper Ludlow.2

     From 12 September 1917, her married name became Sutton. From 3 October 1932, her married name became Ramsbotham.2

     John Charles Ludlow Manners Sutton was born on 7 April 1921.1 He was the son of Major Charles Lexington Manners Sutton and Amabel Anne Ludlow.2 He married, firstly, Daphne Agnes Wormald, daughter of William Francis Wormald, on 5 February 1946.1 He married, secondly, Gillian Harris, daughter of Edwin Stanley Harris, in 1962.2 He died in 1992.2
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Fusiliers.1
