Christopher Roper, 2nd Baron Teynham1

     Christopher Roper, 2nd Baron Teynham was the son of John Roper, 1st Baron Teynham and Elizabeth Parke.2 He married Catherine Seborne, daughter of John Seborne, on 20 June 1590.1 He died on 16 April 1622.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Teynham, of Teynham, Kent [E., 1616] on 30 August 1618.1

     Catherine Seborne was the daughter of John Seborne.2 She married Christopher Roper, 2nd Baron Teynham, son of John Roper, 1st Baron Teynham and Elizabeth Parke, on 20 June 1590.1 She died on 2 October 1625.1
     From 20 June 1590, her married name became Roper. After her marriage, Catherine Seborne was styled as Baroness Teynham on 30 August 1618.

     John Roper, 3rd Baron Teynham was the son of Christopher Roper, 2nd Baron Teynham and Catherine Seborne.2 He married Hon. Mary Petre, daughter of William Petre, 2nd Baron Petre and Lady Katherine Somerset, on 20 November 1616.1 He died on 27 February 1627.1
     He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) in 1616.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Teynham, of Teynham, Kent [E., 1616] on 16 April 1622.1

     After her marriage, Mary Englefield was styled as Baroness Teynham in 1640. From 1640, her married name became Roper.
