     Gladys May Kathleen Fowler is the daughter of Uriah Fowler.2 She married Reverend William Monckton Annesley, son of Reverend Henry Arthur Annesley and Anna Maria Monckton, on 14 June 1938.1
     From 14 June 1938, her married name became Annesley. She lived at Wassall House, Wincanton, Somerset, England.1

     Philip de Vere Annesley was born on 23 February 1879.1 He was the son of Reverend Henry Arthur Annesley and Anna Maria Monckton.2 He married Christabel Charlotte Tomson, daughter of John Christopher Tomson, on 20 April 1907.1 He died on 8 August 1949 at age 70.1
     He graduated from Wadham College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1903 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was a practising solicitor in 1907.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the West Riding Regiment and Area Commandant attached 2nd Army, France.1 He fought in the First World War between 1916 and 1918.1 He was hereditary Cottonian family Trustee of the British Museum.1

     Christabel Charlotte Tomson was the daughter of John Christopher Tomson.2 She married Philip de Vere Annesley, son of Reverend Henry Arthur Annesley and Anna Maria Monckton, on 20 April 1907.1 She died on 6 October 1955.1
     She was awarded the British Empire Medal (B.E.M.)1 From 20 April 1907, her married name became Annesley.

     From 9 August 1939, her married name became Thompson.

     Sir Richard Hilton Marler Thompson, 1st Bt. was born on 5 October 1912.2 He is the son of Richard Smith Thompson and Kathleen Hilda Marler.2 He married Anne Christabel de Vere Annesley, daughter of Philip de Vere Annesley and Christabel Charlotte Tomson, on 9 August 1939.1 He died on 15 July 1999 at age 86.2
     He was educated at Malvern College, Malvern, Worcestershire, England.2 He was a publisher in India, Burma and Ceylon between 1930 and 1939.2 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in dispatches.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in 1944 in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Croydon West between 1950 and 1955.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Croydon South between 1955 and 1966.2 He was created 1st Baronet Thompson, of Reculver, Kent [U.K.] on 28 January 1963.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Croydon South between 1970 and February 1974.2
