Lt.-Col. Gilbert Henry Wedgwood1

     Lt.-Col. Gilbert Henry Wedgwood was born on 19 June 1876.1 He was the son of Laurence Wedgwood and Emma Houseman.2 He married Dorothy Salmond, daughter of Walter Salmond, on 21 July 1920.1 He died on 21 December 1963 at age 87.1
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Yorkshire and Lancashire Regiment.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1
