     Colonel Sir Lorenzo George Dundas was born on 6 April 1837 at County Galway, Ireland.1 He was the son of Lawrence George Dundas and Eleanor Eyre.1 He married Lydia Adams in 1868 at Brighton, Sussex, England.1 He died on 10 December 1917 at age 80 at East Molesey, Surrey, England.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 62nd Regiment.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 6th Royal Fusiliers.1
