     Sir Arthur Stewart Leslie Young, 1st Bt. was born on 10 October 1889.1 He was the son of Daniel Henderson Lusk Young and E. Alice Templeton.2 He married Dorothy Spencer, daughter of Sir Walter Baldwin Spencer, on 21 November 1913.1 He died on 14 August 1950 at age 60.1
     He was educated at Fettes College, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Scottish Rifles.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Glasgow.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Unionist) for Partick between November 1935 and 1950.1 He was a Lord Commissioner of Treasury between 1942 and 1944.1 He was Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1944 and 1945.1 He was created 1st Baronet Young, of Partick, County of the City of Glasgow [U.K.] on 7 September 1945.1

Charles Ernest Chambers, on 10 November 1945.1 He died on 15 October 1963 at age 45.1
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Highland Light Infantry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Young, of Partick, County of the City of Glasgow [U.K., 1945] on 14 August 1950.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dunbartonshire.1 He was chairman of James Templeton & Company, Glasgow.1
