     Lt.-Cmdr. Walter Bousfield Watkins Grubb was born in 1879.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Grubb and Sara Mary Watkins.2,1 He married Marguerite Dunbar, daughter of Dr. unknown Dunbar, in July 1914.1 He died on 22 September 1914 at The North Sea, killed in action on HMS Crecy.1
     He was educated at HMS Britannia.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1
