     Nicholas Griffin was born on 5 June 1426.1 He was the son of Nicholas Griffin and Margaret Pilkington.1 He married, firstly, Catherine Curzon, daughter of Richard Curzon.1 He married, thirdly, Marina Belers, daughter of John Belers.1 He married, secondly, unknown daughter Roos.1 He died on 6 June 1482 at age 56.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Lord Latimer, of Braybrook, Northamptonshire [E., 1299] on 1 February 1444/45, de jure.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Sheriff of Northamptonshire in 1473.1
