     He was Resident Commissioner of the Royal Naval Dockyard between 1823 and 1829 at Bermuda.¹ He was Resident Commissioner of the Royal Naval Dockyard between 1829 and 1832 at Malta.¹ He was Superintendent of the Royal Naval Dockyard, Malta between 1832 and 1838.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Portsmouth between 1851 and 1852.¹

     Isabella Harriet Trepaud was born circa 1795.¹ She married Admiral Sir Thomas Briggs, son of Stephen Briggs and Magdalen Pasley, on 27 January 1814 at Fort St. George, Madras, India.¹ She died on 5 December 1848 at 63 Pall Mall, Westminster, London, England.¹
     From 27 January 1814, her married name became Briggs.¹

     Sarah Elizabeth Briggs was baptised on 22 September 1833 at All Saints, Southampton, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Thomas Briggs and Isabella Harriet Trepaud.¹

     Eliza Ann Briggs was baptised on 22 September 1837 at All Saints, Southampton, Hampshire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Admiral Sir Thomas Briggs and Isabella Harriet Trepaud.¹

     John Venour was born in 1734.² He was the son of Thomas Venour and Ann Banbury.² He married, firstly, Mary Edge on 30 October 1758.² He married, secondly, Catherine Landor on 15 May 1766 at Rugeley, Staffordshire, England.² He died in 1787.²
     He lived at Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, England.²

     Thomas Henry Blackburn Venour was baptised on 12 March 1812 at Wellesbourne, Warwickshire, England.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Venour and Maria Briggs.¹ He married Marion Nathon on 1 February 1842 at St. James, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹ He died on 16 April 1878 at age 66.¹
     He was a practising solicitor [New South Wales].¹

     Marion Nathon was born circa 1819.¹ She married Thomas Henry Blackburn Venour, son of Reverend John Venour and Maria Briggs, on 1 February 1842 at St. James, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.¹ She died on 27 December 1891.¹
     From 1 February 1842, her married name became Venour.¹

     Arthur Lysaght was born circa 1742 at Cork, County Cork, Ireland.¹ He was the son of Arthur Lysaght and Charity Wrixon.¹ He married Martha Pybus, daughter of John Pybus and Martha Small, on 15 October 1776 at Madras, India.¹ He died in December 1783 at Fort St. George, Madras, India.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Honourable East India COmpany Service.¹
