Lucia Caroline Elizabeth Agar-Ellis.1 She married Sir Francis Alexander Newdegate, son of Lt.-Col. Francis William Newdigate and Charlotte Elizabeth Agnes Sophia Woodford, on 13 October 1888.1 She died on 29 December 1940.1
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)1 From 13 October 1888, her married name became Newdigate.1 From 1902, her married name became Newdegate.

     Sir Francis Alexander Newdegate was born on 31 December 1862 at Chelsea, London, England.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis William Newdigate and Charlotte Elizabeth Agnes Sophia Woodford.2 He married Hon. Elizabeth Sophia Lucia Bagot, daughter of William Bagot, 3rd Baron Bagot of Bagot's Bromley and Hon. Lucia Caroline Elizabeth Agar-Ellis, on 13 October 1888.1 He died on 2 January 1936 at age 73 at Arbury Hall, Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England.1,2
