     Hugh Francis Hesketh Lethbridge was born on 25 October 1867.1 He was the son of Sir Wroth Acland Lethbridge, 4th Bt. and Ann Williams Benyon.1 He married Edith Maude Robinson, daughter of Thomas Mellor Robinson, in 1912.1 He died on 3 July 1935 at age 67.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Somerset Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Matabele Campaign in 1896.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He fought in the Natal Rebellion in 1906.1
