     John Gay-French was born in 1906.1 He was the son of John Gay-French and Eleanor May Pipe-Wolferstan.1 He married Kathleen H. Pigott in 1934 at Melksham, Wiltshire, England.1 He died in 1939, shot in the officer's mess by accident.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 4th Battalion, The Buffs.1

     Lt.-Cdr. Surgn. Stanley Gay-French was born in 1908 at London, England.1 He was the son of John Gay-French and Eleanor May Pipe-Wolferstan.1 He married Dorothy Oldfield, daughter of Francis William F. Oldfield and Mabel Powell, in March 1938 at Hull, Yorkshire, England.1 He died on 28 August 1948 at Nairobi, Kenya, from an apparent suicide.1
     He gained the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.1

     Mary Sheelagh Gay-French was born on 13 July 1910.1 She was the daughter of John Gay-French and Eleanor May Pipe-Wolferstan.1 She married Brian W. D. Westgate in 1933.1 She married Eric E. Wilding in 1943.1 She died in 2000 at Surrey, England.1
     From 1933, her married name became Westgate.1 From 1943, her married name became Wilding.1

     Terence Wilder Gay-French was born in 1914 at London, England.1 He was the son of John Gay-French and Eleanor May Pipe-Wolferstan.1 He married Kathleen Oldfield, daughter of Francis William F. Oldfield and Mabel Powell, on 21 December 1938 at Goodstone, Faversham, Kent, England.1 He died on 11 March 1940 at Malta, killed in an air crash whilst serving on H.M.S. Glorious.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1
