     Rita Violet Pauling is the daughter of Henry Richard Clarke Pauling and Marguerite López Guibara.1 She married Commander Frank Charles Robert Romer Younghusband, son of Captain Frank Campbell Younghusband and Florence Forsyth Purvis, on 31 December 1919 at St. michael's Church, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales.1
     From 31 December 1919, her married name became Younghusband.1
