     Mary Dickson Cadell was born on 26 January 1859 at Cramond, Midlothian, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Cadell and Mary Crichton Dickson.¹

     Isabella Carruthers married Reverend Lewis Hay Irving, son of John Irving and Agnes Clark Hay, on 12 September 1832.¹ She died in 1836.¹
     From 12 September 1832, her married name became Irving.¹

     Catherine Cadell was born on 4 February 1817.¹ She was the daughter of James John Cadell and Isabella Mowbray.¹ She was baptised on 13 March 1817 at Carriden, West Lothian, Scotland.¹ She married Reverend Lewis Hay Irving, son of John Irving and Agnes Clark Hay, on 6 October 1840.¹
     From 6 October 1840, her married name became Irving.¹

     Agnes Hay Irving was born on 16 June 1845.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Lewis Hay Irving and Catherine Cadell.¹ She married Surgn.-Maj. Julius John Wood, son of Rev. Dr. James Julius Wood and Christian Inglis Henderson, on 7 January 1870 at Free Church of Scotland, Calcutta, India.²
     From 7 January 1870, her married name became Wood.²

     Reverend John Irving was born on 20 June 1847.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lewis Hay Irving and Catherine Cadell.¹ He died in 1904.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Minister at Innellan Free Church, Innellan, Scotland.¹

     Christian Katherine Irving was born on 28 July 1849.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Lewis Hay Irving and Catherine Cadell.¹

     Mary Chancellor Irving was born on 24 October 1852.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Lewis Hay Irving and Catherine Cadell.¹

     John Irving married Agnes Clark Hay, daughter of Lt-Col. Lewis Hay and Barbara Craigie.¹
