     Cyril Anthony Crofton was born on 1 December 1908.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Cyril Randell Crofton and Ruth Josephine Emily Evans.1 He married Yvonne Florence Arnott Woodhouse, daughter of William Ashton Woodhouse, on 9 December 1939.1 He and Yvonne Florence Arnott Woodhouse were divorced.1 He died on 20 February 1973 at age 64 at Daventry, Northamptonshire, England.2
     Cyril Anthony Crofton usually went by his middle name of Anthony.1 He was Registrar of H.M. Office of Arms between 1936 and 1939 at Dublin Castle, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1 He gained the rank of officer in the North Irish Horse.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was Assistant to the Deputy Ulster King of Arms.1
