     Major Hon. Jeremy David Alfonso John Monson was born on 29 September 1934.¹ He was the son of John Roseberry Monson, 10th Baron Monson of Burton and Bettie Northrup Powell.¹ He married Patricia Mary Barker, daughter of Major George Barker, on 4 December 1958.¹ He died in 2007.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1954 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1964.¹ He was Military Assistant, Defence Services Secretary between 1964 and 1966.¹ He held the office of Member of the Berkshire County Council between 1981 and 1993.¹ He was appointed Officer, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (O.St.J.) in 1992.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Berkshire between 1994 and 1995.¹

     Patricia Mary Barker is the daughter of Major George Barker.¹ She married Major Hon. Jeremy David Alfonso John Monson, son of John Roseberry Monson, 10th Baron Monson of Burton and Bettie Northrup Powell, on 4 December 1958.¹
     From 4 December 1958, her married name became Monson.¹

     Major George Barker lived at Stanlake Park, Twyford, Berkshire, England.¹
