     Oliver Hughes-Onslow was born on 16 March 1893.1 He was the son of Major Denzil Hughes-Onslow and Marion Oliver.1 He married Helen Ruth Dodds, daughter of Reverend George Dodds, on 1 June 1916.1 He died on 26 February 1972 at age 78.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.1 He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.1 He was admitted to Middle Temple in 1926 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) in 1935.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He lived at Laggan, Ayrshire, Scotland.1

Virginia Ruth Primrose Hughes-Onslow1

     Virginia Ruth Primrose Hughes-Onslow was born on 19 April 1917.1 She was the daughter of Oliver Hughes-Onslow and Helen Ruth Dodds.1 She married Major Robert Boothby How, son of Captain William Fitzherbert How, on 4 April 1942.1 She and Major Robert Boothby How were divorced in 1953.1 She married, secondly, Maurice Oliver Pease on 21 October 1969.1 She died on 7 May 1997 at age 80.1
     From 4 April 1942, her married name became How.1 From 21 October 1969, her married name became Pease.1

     Major Robert Boothby How was the son of Captain William Fitzherbert How.1 He married, firstly, Virginia Ruth Primrose Hughes-Onslow, daughter of Oliver Hughes-Onslow and Helen Ruth Dodds, on 4 April 1942.1 He and Virginia Ruth Primrose Hughes-Onslow were divorced in 1953.1 He died in 1990.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Black Watch.1

     Henry John Hughes-Onslow was born on 31 March 1816.1 He was the son of Reverend Arthur Onslow and Caroline Mangles.1 He married Judith Charlotte Barras, daughter of William Barras, on 8 January 1861.1 He died on 31 July 1870 at age 54.1
     He was given the name of Henry John Onslow at birth.1 He lived at Balkissock, Ayrshire, Scotland.1

     Reverend Arthur Onslow was born on 30 December 1773.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Onslow and Jane Thorp.1 He married, firstly, Marianna Campbell, daughter of William Campbell, on 25 August 1803.1 He married, secondly, Caroline Mangles, daughter of James Mangles, on 17 June 1815.1 He died on 29 November 1851 at age 77.1
     He was Rector at Crayford, Kent, England.1

     Rt. Hon. Arthur Onslow was born circa 1692.1 He was the son of Foot Onslow and Susanna Anlaby.1 He married Anne Bridges, daughter of John Bridges.2 He died on 17 February 1768.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Recorder of Guildford in 1719.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford between 1720 and 1727.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between 1727 and 1761.1 He was appointed Privy Counselor (P.C.) in 1728.1 He held the office of Speaker, House of Commons between 1728 and 1761.1 He was Chancellor to Queen Caroline in 1729.1 He held the office of Bencher of Inner Temple.1 He was Treasury of the Navy between 1734 and 1743.2 He was Trustee of the British Museum.2

     Foot Onslow was born on 2 June 1655.1 He was the son of Sir Arthur Onslow, 1st Bt. and Mary Foote.1 He married Susanna Anlaby, daughter of Thomas Anlaby.1 He died on 10 May 1710 at age 54.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford in 1688.1 He was First Commissioner of Excise.1 He also had five daughters.1
