     Gilbert de Umfreville was born before 1217. He was the son of Richard de Umfreville.1 He married Maud, Countess of Angus, daughter of Malcolm, 6th Earl of Angus and Mary Berkeley, in 1243.1 He died before 13 March 1244/45.1 He was buried at Hexham Priory, Hexham, Northumberland, EnglandG.1
     After his marriage, Gilbert de Umfreville was styled as Earl of Angus, jure uxoris.1 He gained the title of Lord of Prudhoe and Redesdale, in Northumberland.1 On 8 January 1226/27 he did homage for his father's lands.1

She married Christian Ernst Markgraf von Brandenburg-Bayreuth, son of Erdmann August Markgraf von Bayreuth and Sophie Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach, on 19 October 1662. She died on 12 June 1670 at age 26.
     From 19 October 1662, her married name became von Brandenburg-Bayreuth.

     Sophie Luise von Württemberg-Stuttgart was born on 19 February 1642.1 She was the daughter of Eberhard III Herzog von Württemberg-Stuttgart and Anna Katherina Rheingräfin von Salm-Kyrburg.2 She married Christian Ernst Markgraf von Brandenburg-Bayreuth, son of Erdmann August Markgraf von Bayreuth and Sophie Prinzessin von Brandenburg-Ansbach, on 8 February 1671.1 She died on 3 October 1702 at age 60.1
