     Sir Gerard Napier, 1st Bt. was the son of Sir Nathaniel Napier and Elizabeth Gerard.2 He married Margaret Colles, daughter of John Colles.1 He died on 14 May 1673.3
     He was created 1st Baronet Napier, of Middle Marsh Hall, co. Dorset [England] on 25 June 1641.3 In 1645 his estates in Dorset were sequestered.3
