     Arthur Dingwall-Fordyce was born on 29 June 1783 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Arthur Dingwall-Fordyce and Janet Morison.¹ He died on 19 December 1812 at age 29, at sea off the Cape of Good Hope.¹
     He was an engineer with the Honourable East India Company.¹

     Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce was born on 7 February 1786 at Culsh, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was the son of Arthur Dingwall-Fordyce and Janet Morison.¹ He married Magdalen Dingwall, daughter of Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce and Elizabeth Douglass, on 9 September 1813.¹ He died on 23 February 1852 at age 66 at Belsyde, Fergus, Ontario, Canada.¹
     He held the office of a magistrate [Canada].¹ He was educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ He was Warden of the County of Wellington in 1842.¹

     Magdalen Dingwall was baptised on 15 February 1786 at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce and Elizabeth Douglass.¹ She married Alexander Dingwall-Fordyce, son of Arthur Dingwall-Fordyce and Janet Morison, on 9 September 1813.¹ She died in 1846 at Belsyde, Fergus, Ontario, Canada.¹
     From 9 September 1813, her married name became Dingwall-Fordyce.¹
