     He gained the title of 3rd Baron Holles. On his death, his title ebcame extinct.1

     Sir Adrian Scrope was born circa 1616.2 He was the son of Sir Gervase Scrope and Catherine Hungerford.2 He married Mary Carr, daughter of Sir Robert Carr, 2nd Bt. and Mary Gargrave.1 He died in 1667.1
     He lived at Cockerington, Lincolnshire, England.1 He was Gentleman of the privy Chamber between 1641 and 1646.2 He gained the rank of Colonel of Horse between 1642 and 1646.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Grimsby between 1661 and 1666.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 23 April 1661.1
