     Hugh Montgomery, 2nd Earl of Mount Alexander is the son of Hugh Montgomery, 1st Earl of Mount Alexander and Mary Moore.1 He married Lady Catharine Dillon, daughter of Carey Dillon, 5th Earl of Roscommon and Katherine Werden. He married Elenor Berkeley, daughter of Maurice Berkeley, 3rd Viscount Fitzhardinge of Berehaven.
     He gained the title of 2nd Earl of Mount Alexander.1
