     Sir Peter Malden Studd was born on 15 September 1916.1 He was the son of Brigadier Malden Augustus Studd and Netta Elizabeth Laura Cramsie.1 He married Angela Mary Garnier, daughter of Reverend George Ronald Garnier and Vera Wilson, in 1943.1 He died on 22 June 2003 at age 86.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.1 He was educated at Clare College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was director of Thomas De La Rue & Company, security printers between 1958 and 1974.1 He was appointed Knight in 1969.1 He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1970 and 1971.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1971.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) in 1979.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Wiltshire in 1983.1
