     Sir William Hollingworth Quaile Jones was the son of Reverend Charles William Jones and Barbara Wheale.1 He married, secondly, Claire May Berdoe-Wilkinson, daughter of Edmond Berdoe-Wilkinson.1 He married, firstly, Alice Kent.1 He married, thirdly, Mary Dyer.1 He and Claire May Berdoe-Wilkinson were divorced in 1905 for adultery.1 He died in 1925.1
     He held the office of Chief Justice of Sierra Leone between 1887 and 1895.1
