     From 3 December 1805, her married name became Eliot.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Granville Eliot was born on 7 September 1779 at Boughton, Kent, England.¹ He was the son of Francis Percival Eliot and Anne Breyton.¹ He married Harriett Ann Mann, daughter of Lt.-Col. Gother Mann and Ann Wade, on 3 December 1805 at Plumstead, Kent, England.¹ He died on 26 August 1855 at age 75 at Ore Hastings, Sussex, England.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Horse Artillery.¹

     Colonel Frederick William Mann was born on 28 December 1781.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Gother Mann and Ann Wade.¹ He was baptised on 18 February 1783 at Chatham, Kent, England.¹ He married Martha Dobrée, daughter of Isaac Dobrée and Anne Saumarez, in 1814.¹ He died on 28 July 1871 at age 89 at De Beauvoir, Guernsey, Channel Islands.¹
