     Piers Legh was born in 1623.1 He was the son of Piers Legh and Hon. Anne Savile.1 He died in 1642, after he was wounded in a duel, unmarried.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newton, Lancashire.1 He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1

Francis Legh1

     Francis Legh was the son of Sir Piers Legh and Margaret Gerard.1 He married Anne Fenner, daughter of Sir Edward Fenner, in 1630.1 He died in 1643, without issue.1
     He lived at Lyme Park, Cheshire, England.1
