     Lt.-Col. Sir Roland Lewis Findlay, 3rd Bt. was born on 14 July 1903. He was the son of Sir John Ritchie Findlay of Aberlour, 1st Bt. and Harriet Jane Backhouse. He married, firstly, Barbara Joan Garrard, daughter of Major Harry Sebastian Garrard and May Cazenove, on 15 December 1927. He married, secondly, Marjory Mary Biddulph, daughter of Hon. Claud William Biddulph and Margaret Howard, on 28 October 1964.1 He died on 28 July 1979 at age 76.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Findlay, of Aberlour in the County of Banff [U.K., 1925].

     Caroline Eldred Hughes is the daughter of Keon Hughes.1 She married, firstly, Charles Fairey before 1985.1 She married, secondly, Anthony David Francis Henry Fane, 16th Earl of Westmorland, son of David Anthony Thomas Fane, 15th Earl of Westmorland and Jane Barbara Findlay, in 1985.1
     From before 1985, her married name became Fairey.1 Her married name became Fane. After her marriage, Caroline Eldred Hughes was styled as Countess of Westmorland in 1993.

     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1966 and 1968.1 He lived in 2003 at 14 Trevor Street, London, EnglandG.1
