Sir Gilfred Lawson, 6th Bt. was born circa 1657.1 He was the son of Wilfrid Lawson and Sarah James.1 He died on 23 August 1749, unmarried.1
He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Lawson, of Isell [E., 1688]. He was educated at Queen's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1701 and 1705.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cumberland between 1708 and 1734.1
