     John Gore was born circa 1689.1 He was the son of Sir William Gore and Elizabeth Hampton.1 He married Hannah Sambrooke, daughter of Sir Jeremy Sambrooke and Judith Vanacker.1 He died on 3 August 1763.1
     He lived at Bush Hill, London, England.1 He was director of the South Sea Company from 1711 to 1712.1 He was director of the South Sea Company between 1715 and 1721.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Grimsby between 1747 and 1761.1
