     Claire Marie Villiers-Stuart was born on 15 January 1917.1 She was the daughter of Colonel John Patrick Villiers-Stuart and Phyllis Mary Read.1 She married Colonel Basil Nevill Leslie Ditmas, son of Lt.-Col. Francis Ivan Leslie Ditmas, on 5 June 1948.1 She died on 11 October 1966 at age 49.1
     Her married name became Ditmas.

     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1

     Stella Villiers-Stuart was born on 25 March 1918.1 She was the daughter of Colonel John Patrick Villiers-Stuart and Phyllis Mary Read.1 She married, firstly, S/Ldr. Donald Maitland Wellings, son of Evelyn Valentine Wellings, on 6 September 1941.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Anthony Hamilton Gerald Barton, son of Lt.-Col. Richard Lionel Barton and Isobel Violet Leonore Gardiner, on 19 September 1949.1 She died on 22 March 2015 at age 96.2
     From 6 September 1941, her married name became Wellings. She gained the rank of Assistant Staff Officer in the Women's Auxiliary Air Force.1 Her married name became Barton. She lived in 2003 at Manesty Cottage, The Green, Fernhurst, Haslemere, Surrey, EnglandG.1

Donald Maitland Wellings was born on 2 June 1913 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England.2 He was the son of Evelyn Valentine Wellings.1 He married Stella Villiers-Stuart, daughter of Colonel John Patrick Villiers-Stuart and Phyllis Mary Read, on 6 September 1941.1 He died on 9 October 1944 at age 31, killed in action.
     He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)1

     Brig.-Gen. Henry Richmond Gale was the son of Henry Richmond Hoghton Gale.1 He married Kathleen Jane Villiers-Stuart, daughter of Captain Henry John Richard Villiers-Stuart and Jane Rigby Murray, on 6 May 1903.1 He died on 29 July 1930.
     He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Engineers.2 He lived at Bardsea Hall, Lancashire, EnglandG.1
