     Sir George Bevan Bowen was born on 28 December 1858.¹ He was the son of James John Bowen and Harriet Standly.¹ He married Florence Emma Corbyn, daughter of Frederick Corbyn and Caroline Eliza Cannon, in 1882.¹ He died on 3 July 1940 at age 81.¹
     He lived at Llwyngwair Manor, Newport, Pembrokeshire, Wales.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Pembrokeshire in 1914.¹ He was appointed Knight in 1928.¹

     Edward Owen Eustace Hill was born on 30 March 1907 at Winterbourne Park, Gloucestershire, England.¹ He was the son of Major Eustace Tickell Hill and Florence Muriel Bowen.¹ He married Jean O'Hagan Morton.¹ He died in 2001 at Wellington, New Zealand.¹
     He held the office of Mayor of New Plymouth between 1953 and 1956.¹
