Richard Strode1

     Richard Strode was born on 22 May 1528.1 He was the son of William Strode and Elizabeth Courtenay.1 He married Frances Cromwell, daughter of Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell and Elizabeth Seymour, on 11 November 1560.1 He died on 5 August 1581 at age 53.1
     He lived at Newnham, Hampshire, England.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1553.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Plympton Erle in 1559.1

     Frances Cromwell was the daughter of Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell and Elizabeth Seymour.1 She married Richard Strode, son of William Strode and Elizabeth Courtenay, on 11 November 1560.1 She died on 7 February 1562.1
     From 11 November 1560, her married name became Strode.1
