     Herbert Percy Powell Rees was born on 4 February 1867.¹ He was the son of Ludowick William Rees and Ann Jones.¹ He married, firstly, Maud Russell Carlyle, daughter of Thomas Carlyle, on 2 June 1891.¹ He married, secondly, Marie Louise Dilleber, daughter of John Randolph Dilleber, on 3 October 1894.¹ He died on 26 April 1934 at age 67.¹

     Maud Russell Carlyle was the daughter of Thomas Carlyle.¹ She married Herbert Percy Powell Rees, son of Ludowick William Rees and Ann Jones, on 2 June 1891.¹ She died on 15 November 1892.¹
     From 2 June 1891, her married name became Rees.¹

     Thomas Carlyle lived at Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹

     Herbert Windsor Powell Rees was the son of Herbert Percy Powell Rees and Maud Russell Carlyle.¹ He died, in infancy.¹

     Marie Louise Dilleber was the daughter of John Randolph Dilleber.¹ She married Herbert Percy Powell Rees, son of Ludowick William Rees and Ann Jones, on 3 October 1894.¹ She died on 8 September 1956.¹

     Major Herbert George Powell Rees was born on 20 October 1897.¹ He was the son of Herbert Percy Powell Rees and Marie Louise Dilleber.¹ He married Octobera Nerquise Edwards, daughter of J. M. Edwards, on 28 February 1925.¹ He died on 21 November 1952 at age 55.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the South African Air Force.¹

     Octobera Nerquise Edwards is the daughter of J. M. Edwards.¹ She married Major Herbert George Powell Rees, son of Herbert Percy Powell Rees and Marie Louise Dilleber, on 28 February 1925.¹
     From 28 February 1925, her married name became Rees.¹

     J. M. Edwards lived at Brooklands Terrace, Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.¹
